Howdy Hey! My name is Pearlean. I grew up in a small town in New Jersey with a big family. Growing up in a small community, everyone knew everyone's business so it was hard to try to shield drugs from my generation as we were growing up. Seeing the effects and struggles of my community inspired me to make this podcast. I want to be able to give back and allow people who struggle and who are recovering addicts to have a voice in the conversation.

I am a 20-year-old Afro-Latina who is just trying to navigate through life like everyone else. I am obsessed with music and learning from people who have different perspectives than me. I believe that we only have one life and I want to soak up all the knowledge and crazy experiences that come along with it.
